My hotel is the L'Hotel Nina in Tsuen Wan.
It's a very nice looking hotel.
It's huge with 61 floors. I'm on the 33rd.
The foyer is usually crowded with people. There are a lot of travel groups, such as school-aged Chinese, Japanese, and Korean sports teams.
Tsuen Wan is a suburb of Hong Kong about 25 km north west from Hong Kong. Hong Kong is an island, then there's Kowloon on the main land to the north. Tsuen Wan is still further north west in a region called the New Territories, sometimes written NT. (Google map of Tsuen Wan).
The location is convenient for work, because our data centre is also in Tsuen Wan and I will be doing work at all kinds of weird hours.
My next blog will be about my first day in Hong Kong.
