Had another early start for work.
It was another rainy, misty day.
Had a chicken sandwich I'd bought the night before from 7 Eleven, and a can of Nescafe rich coffee for breakfast.
Moved more servers. Managed to break one of the rails when I was lifting a server and it got caught. Was starting to feel rather sore.
When I got back to the hotel, I took some more photos.
Then I headed into central Hong Kong for the first time to see the work office and go out for drinks with the Hong Kong staff.
Again, I went via the Tsuen Wan MTR station.
When I got to Central, I was amazed at how big, bold, and Western it seemed. Still Asian of course, but very London too. Lots of fashion stores, and even red double-decker buses!
Walked straight to the office. The walk was mostly uphill.
Met lots of people I hadn't seen for a while: Phillip, Simon, Matthew, and Carey, and met Katherine, Jim, and Sunny for the first time. (Karen was in Japan.)
We headed to an Irish bar, had a few drinks, and half watched the Rugby. Spoke to Carey and his mate Kim, debating the finer points of Union versus League and the strength of the Australian cricket team. Jim left, then Katherine, Kim, Carey and I went to a Thai and Vietnamese restaurant.
After we had an entree, I started to feel ill, and vomited. And vomited. At the table, in the bathroom, outside on the footpath.
Wasn't a good look at all.
Not sure whether it was lack of sleep, the dodgy chicken sandwich, or too much alcohol. I had four beers that night, which hasn't been a problem before, so I blame the sandwich.
Katherine and Carey looked after me. We had to leave the restaurant, so we went back to the office.
Still wasn't feeling well, so Carey took me back to his place. Went there in a taxi still holding a bin.
He was really great, and sorted me out with a shower, toothbrush, and a bed.
Slept it off.
